School Ground and Classroom Conduct 1. In class, Chapel service
and at all other times during school activities or on
school grounds, students must
show respect for God’s Word and seek diligently
to master its truths. Students are expected to demonstrate
Christian character and respect for the Word of God
in every aspect of school life. Unsportsmanlike conduct,
abusive or malicious language or a refusal to cooperate
is unacceptable. If it seems that a student is consistently
unable to apply the Bible to daily life, the teacher
and parent will consult in order to help the student.
2. In conduct and conversation, every student must exhibit
consideration and respect for the person and property
of others. Any conduct that may be deemed dangerous will
not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to,
running in the halls, using any equipment carelessly,
or engaging in threatening or bullying. Respect for others
means the use of kind words, as well as actions. Crude
or abusive language will not be tolerated and will result
in disciplinary action.
3. All students must show respect and obedience to any
teacher or responsible adult. Students will be expected
to follow established and reasonable classroom procedures
such as not interrupting teacher presentations or classroom
discussion. Any refusal to obey a teacher, staff member
or parent volunteer will be taken very seriously, and
will result in immediate disciplinary action.
